We've been building web sites since 1994 and we enjoy it more with every passing year.  Our team delivers innovative, competitively priced services to small and medium sized businesses with an emphasis on startups from our HQ in South Shields in the North East of England.

Our technology powered the first multi-vendor electronic commerce system launched in the UK (back in 1997) and we have continued to provide low cost services to a mass market whilst maintaining our personal touch ever since.  Whether you need a web site, a blog, an online shop, search engine optimisation, a more supportive hosting provider or business email we can help.

Since 1994 we have built sites for thousands of customers and we have striven to never write the same code twice; our library contains millions of lines of code and this allows us to build sites quickly which translates into higher quality (through the use of proven code) and lower costs for our clients.  We have a policy of developing affordable projects and for ensuring that we deliver high levels of expertise to businesses of all sizes.

We take great pride in being based in the North East of England and we deliver services from our HQ in Birtley to companies who trust us to develop and manage their web sites, host their email accounts, and optimise their sites for the biggest search engines.  Wherever possible we source the products and services we buy locally.

Nick J Bird (Founder and CEO)

Our Founder & CEO is an innovator and entrepreneur responsible for our great ideas and the Busybird vision. He's pulled together a committed team of experts to help deliver the vision and to expand the business rapidly in the next three years.

Christopher Kirkham-Sandy (CFO)

Christopher has a background in business start-ups and support stretching back over 40 years with a focus on investment and managing business process change and growth. As our CFO he is responsible for the financial stability of the business and looks after our investors.

Ian Gibson (Creative Director)

As well as running a successful design company and two Busybird Foundation Franchisees, Ian sits on our board and is responsible for our brand strategy and corporate look and feel. His expertise is also available to our clients and Authorised Resellers who need branding and creative services.

Richard Evans (Development DIRECTOR)

Richard is responsible for the development of our core systems and Foundation Platform. He delivers cutting edge code in line with the requirements of the business and bespoke systems for clients who need more advanced data driven systems.
